Elementary: The Next Step

Your child is about to complete a Montessori Primary class and you are amazed at what he/she has learned. Like other Montessori students, s/he has mastered a well-rounded course of reading and writing, math, geography, and science.

Now you are asking yourself, what next? How do we maximize what our child has learned and give him/her the opportunity to continue to grow? Do we stretch our budget to attend a high-priced private school? Or do we “settle” for a traditional public school classroom?

At Good Shepherd Montessori School, we give you another option: an affordable Elementary program.

Our Montessori Elementary class takes children to the next level in their education. More than that, we make it affordable by keeping our overhead low and focusing our resources where they matter: in the classroom. At an annual cost of only $6,000 per year, our Elementary class makes sense for growing young minds.

At ages 6 through 9, children want to discover the universe and their place in it. They want to know how and why, they seek out new challenges, and they yearn for the answers to big questions. Their intellect develops and organizes itself, turning toward abstract concepts, reasoning, imagination, and logic.

Our curriculum includes English, math, physical science, biology, foreign language, music, piano class, art, and physical education. (Scroll down for curriculum samples.)
